I did a simple and I mean very simple rocker. Covered the bottom, put piping and a ruffle around it. Made a loose cushion for the wood back. How nice you get to work with your Dad!Texanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560812716080117867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7813672052535462953.post-2722307593147914742011-08-28T17:57:27.048-06:002011-08-28T17:57:27.048-06:00Wow! It's cool to get to see it!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07021958528271756631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7813672052535462953.post-4096615440198898602011-08-08T15:15:36.027-06:002011-08-08T15:15:36.027-06:00The chair looks great - with the subtle piping and...The chair looks great - with the subtle piping and everything. It's fun to read about your reupholstering, since it seems so few people do it.

My husband and I have reupholstered two of our couches. Boy that was an experience since we had no instructions! The second one went better, of course. Hoping to reupholster it one day and think it would be easy. The only section that needs to be reupholstered is the back, seat & the front of the retractable foot rest. The arms are wood with spindles at the sides, sort of mission style.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03688900287732221253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7813672052535462953.post-33544554637539789092011-08-08T01:40:23.129-06:002011-08-08T01:40:23.129-06:00Such a fascinating post!
